IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING 3D PRINTED PRODUCTS
Please read this 3D printed products disclaimer carefully. By purchasing, possessing, or using our products manufactured by The Freaky Factory, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Nature of 3D Printing (Additive Manufacturing)
Our products are created using 3D printing technology. Unlike mass-produced injection-molded plastics, 3D printed parts are constructed layer by layer. As a result:
Visual Imperfections: The product will have visible “layer lines,” seams, and minor cosmetic imperfections (such as small bumps or “zits”) inherent to the manufacturing process. No two items are exactly alike.
Structural Integrity: 3D printed parts have anisotropic strength, meaning they are weaker along the layer lines. They are generally not as strong or durable as industrially manufactured plastic parts. Do not subject product to excessive force, impact, or heavy loads.
2. Material Limitations & Environment
Heat Sensitivity: Unless otherwise specified, this product is likely made from eco-friendly PLA (Polylactic Acid) bioplastic. While it is sturdy, PLA has a low heat tolerance and will warp or deform at temperatures above 120°F (50°C). Do not leave this product in a hot car, near a heater, or in a dishwasher or it might loose its shape.
UV Exposure: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause discoloration or make the material brittle over time.
3. Safety & Intended Use
Not a Toy: Unless explicitly marketed as a children’s toy, this product is designed for decorative, prototyping, or adult novelty use only. It is not suitable for children, as it may contain small parts that pose a choking hazard or sharp edges if broken.
Food Safety: Unless explicitly certified as “Food Safe,” do not use this product in contact with food or drink. The micro-crevices between layers can harbor bacteria even after washing.
4. Cleanning: Clean with a damp cloth and cool water only.
5. Limitation of Liability We shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, injuries, or losses arising from the use, misuse, or failure of this product. The user assumes all responsibility for ensuring the product is suitable for their intended application.
